Blind Hemming

Back to Operation Basics

  1. Raise presser foot.
  2. Raise needle.
  3. Turn power on.

  1. Fold hem to wrong side.
  2. Pin or baste in place.
  3. Fold hem back as shown.

  1. Loosen screw (1) to install blindstitch guide.
  2. Tighten screw.
Resrc_blind_hem_step3
  1. Turn power on.
  2. Place folded edge against blindstitch guide.
  3. Sew, allowing wide stitches to enter edge of fold.

  1. Turn fabric to right side and press.
