Does anyone know where I can purchase the extra feet for all of the other speciality stuff like lace elastic cording yarn beading and shirring. For my 14HD854 I also was told I can go under model 14SH754 it's the same attachments is this true. I live in Canada
I have owned 3 Singer sergers and the 14HD854 is the first one that I am unhappy with. It is extremely difficult to thread. It looked as if it would have threaded the same as my previous one, but it does not. It is very frustrating and to say I absolutely hate it is an understatement. Waiting for a Black Friday trade in so I can dump it for something else.

It is worth the money

I bought this heave duty machine on June 29. Due to moving I did open the box a month ago. I am experienced, but
this does not work for me. I did Watch the video many times trying to do every thing perfect, but still can not sawing. The thread on both needles both just broken as soon as I stared sewing.

Works great. I have never owned a serger before and have been very happy with this purchase. Other sergers I saw in person at a big box store seemed so dinky and toylike. This one seems more substantial and does trim the seams of my denim jeans easily. Looking forward to trying more adventurous techniques with the included feet.
The bolt that holds the motor and power plug broke off while simply sewing some light weight t-shirt fabric. The power plug is mounted on the same bracket. I always unplug the machine and remove the power cord from the machine for storage. My guess is this cause it to strip out the small bolt from the aluminum frame it is mounted to.
I love this machine. It does everything I demand of it with ease. I'm still learning what it does. The only reason I give it four stars is the manual, not the machine itself. It's missing some important points. For example... what exactly does a "spreader " do and what is it used for?
