I have been trying for 2 days to get a hold of customer support. I have waited for my turn for an hour each day on the phone. Promptly at 5pm EST they hang up on you.

So Disappointed!

Overall Rating: 2 stars

As a lifelong singer sewer, this is the first time I've gotten a machine that hasn't worked properly from the first day. Customer service is no help because they keep rehashing that I'm threading it wrong or it would work, and I've owned the machine for less than 6 months. It jams constantly, rattles, and the embroidery is awful. I've destroyed more fabric than it's worth trying to get the thing to work properly. I wish I could ship it back and purchase something else. I've have reverted back to sewing with my old machine of 30 years ago. So I just spent close to $1000 for a machine that is brand new and I wouldn't GIVE it away to a friend.....so disappointed and no help from Singer. Where is the warranty?

I Love, Love, Love It!!!!

Overall Rating: 5 star

Pros: Good Value, Great Features, Easy To Use, High Quality, I'm Very Pleased With Singer Itself. I Had A Problem With One Of The Hoops And They Replaced Both Hoops - No Questions Asked!

Cons: My Only Difficulty So Far Is Trying To Turn A Picture Into Embroidery. It's Not As Easy As It Appears. I'm Not Giving Up Though!!

I truly love this machine! It has renewed my love of all things sewing/embroidering/quilting. It's pretty quiet, runs smoothly, does a great bobbin, is easy to thread, and works like charm. I couldn't be happier.

While I'm still playing around with all the goodies on this machine, I've fallen in love with it. It runs very smooth and is easy to use. After 40 years of sewing with Singer machines, I think they outdid theirselves with this one.

I have a Brother machine. The dealer in our area gave classes on using the machine. The Singer support is not good. Can't find a dealer in our area that gives any support.

A great machine

Overall Rating: 5 star

Pros: Good Value, Great Features, High Quality

Cons: Complicated

I bought this when it debuted on HSN. The price was great for all it came with (namely the software & extras). I love the machine for sewing, but it gets a little annoying having to switch it back and forth for sewing and embroidery. I had a rough start with the embroidery (first 3 times had all sorts of problems, but I believe they were all me - I was new to embroidery). I wish it came with a better manual and that I could have taken a class to learn how to use it. But, that probably would have made the machine cost twice as much (buying locally). Some of the added accessories/feet I can't get to work right. I think they're typical China junk. So that stinks. But I have done countless wonderful embroidery and appliqués and completed a lot of projects. Don't let the bad reviews deter you. If you take the time to LEARN what the machine requires of you, it will work great. But it can't do it alone. And for the reviews that said something was wrong when they got it, that can happy to ANY electronic or sewing machine. Part of how things are made now & a lack of quality control.

Waste of money

Overall Rating: 1 star

Cons: Poor Quality, Customer Service Stinks

used twice for a total of about 12 designs, thread keeps snapping, or gathers under the item being embroidered (you end up with a big wad of thread wrapped around the bobbin housing), auto threader does not work, the cutter does not work (makes a grinding sound, but does not cut). this is a worthless machine, unless you enjoy spending close to a thousand dollars for 12 designs!

Well, I can't say to much yet. I've only fiddled around a bit with my new SEQS-6700. I was diagnosed with breast cancer just after buying the machine and have been pretty well tied- up with treatments to do much sewing. I'm done treatment now and hope to be happily back at my Singer soon. It seems like a great machine and I love all the extras that came with.i got the new set of hoops automatically which was very nice. I will be glad to give you a review in the near future. Keep on sewing girls (and guys) !! Carla
