My wife and I have bought every iron on the market, including the much touted Rowenta series of irons. Whether the irons be cheap or expensive, we've not been pleased with any brand we've purchased in the past. And that includes three tries at the most expensive Rowenta's on the market. "All" brands have been duds!!! However, we've purchased the Singer Expert Finish 11 and we could not be happier with the results of using it. Absolutely wonderful iron!! We both iron a lot and we have both been amazed by the ease of using this iron: glides freely over all fabrics, steam comes out evenly with no sputters or spits, very evenly weighted and consistently the finished products looks wonderful!
