I got this sewing machine for my six year old son. He has become a pro with it. I have more expensive ones that I have had to send to the shop to get repaired and I thought this would be perfect for him and it is. He operates it all by himself. He was giving lessons to my brother who was able to understand him and now he wants to learn how to sew. What a great machine to start him out in sewing.

I think this sewing machine has alot of potential after the kinks are addressed. First day it arrived I started sewing on it after reading the manual and looked at the video. It was sewing ok and then it just stopped working. Right in the middle of sewing something. I checked everything thinking I did something wrong, everything checked out. I unplugged and plugged it back in. It started working again and when just stopped again. I couldn't get it to start working again. I haven't given up on the sewing machine so I'm returning it and asking for a replacement. I hope the 2nd one works. I really like the features on the sewing machine and it was easy to use.

I have an antique featherweight, but I am so glad that this new one has arrived! Love all the new features, simplicity of use, and also the weight of this little machine. Started a new quilt project on it and it works just great; really love the fact the I do not have to use the foot pedal if I don't want to and also the slow and fast speeds option.

Great Buy for the money

Very easy to use and the DVD was most helpful. I especially like the option of using the auto or pedal sewing. I have not, however, gotten the automatic needle threader to work, so I cannot give it 5 star rating at this time.
