I bought this iron to replace my Sunbeam that I never really did like! I am thrilled with it. It just glides over the fabric and the steam is consistent. When I saw it was made by Singer I was sure it would be good and it is. I highly recommend it. It is light weight too! Easy to fill the water resevoir and I am so glad I took a chance and bought it at Kohls.com.

I love this iron! The steam is great, and I use steam whenever I iron. Definite a FIVE in rating. The price was cheap considering how the iron performs. I would rate it at the higest point possible. It is light weight and easy to handle. The controls are easy to read and easy to set. This is the best iron!!! Keep up your excellent reputation, you have earned it!

Pros:
Good Value, Great Features, Easy To Use, High Quality, I Couldn't Find A Fault For This Iron. It Provides All The Features I Was Looking For In A Quality Steam Iron!
Cons:
I Don't Really Have Any Cons To Mention For This Iron. I Was Very Impressed With It's Over All Performance.

I recently bought the Singer Classic Finish Steam Iron and am I ever impressed. I saw it advertised on an online shopping site and this iron really does performs exactly as the promotion demonstrated. It heats up very quickly and presses nice crisp creases in slacks or even jeans. It does a wonderful job on linens that are deeply wrinkled. I love the steam this iron produces. During the online demonstration it showed this irons's burst of steam feature and it would shoot about 4 feet across the room. Well I tried that out and the burst from the steam really does shoot across the room that far. It's great for getting creases and wrinkles out of jackets or blouses that are on a clothes hanger when using this iron as a steamer by holding it upright and using the burst of steam feature. This iron will also press through several layers of fabric just as that demonstration also featured. I tried pressing my jeans with both legs stacked on top of each other while using the steam feature on this iron and it put a nice crisp crease down both legs at once. I love how quickly this iron heats up too. Especially on the steam selection. It's within seconds, really!!! I really like the design and attractiveness of the iron as well and the 1700 watts insures lots of power and durability. It has a good size storage tank for the water as well and you can use just regular tap water. No need to use distilled water, unless of course you have hard water in your well and it would be adviseable to use half distilled and half tap water to decrease the possibliity of mineral build up. I also love that this iron has a self cleaning feature. I haven't had the iron long enough to test that out, but I have no doubt it will perform just as well as the other features on this iron. The price is right too! Very affordable and I believe this irons performance every bit as good as the more expensive brands out there. I haven't had any water leakage either and I've used the iron many times. It always performs beautifully. I am very impressed with the Singer Classic Finish Steam Iron and would recommend it to anyone wanting an affordable top notch performing Steam Iron that will make all your ironing chores much more enjoyable.

I had purchased a Rowneta and within a year it leaked terribly; so I thought I would try the Singer. Was I surprised and pleased. It gets the wrinkles out of everything beautifully and the steam is great. It is a nice weight and isn't not too big a grip for my small hand!
