Pros:
Easy To Thread, Good Manual
Cons:
Stitch Length Isn't True, Light Isn't Efficient, Foot Pedal Hard To Use

I was really excited to get my 3323S Talent after reading all the great reviews here! I thought it was a real beauty and was sure I was in love. I had no trouble threading it (without using the automatic threader which seemed a bit complicated!) or inserting the bobbin. I liked the little switch to turn on both the machine and the light together. I had no trouble selecting the normal stitch, choosing the longest size as I was going to make a machine-stitched baby quilt. So far so good.

And then my problems began. First, I noticed that the light illuminates only a very small area, but I could overlook that if it performed up to my expectations.

As I did my first row of stitches, I had trouble controlling the sewing speed, but wasn't too concerned as, after all, I'd selected the length of stitch and assumed the stitches would be true. I was so disappointed to find most of the stitches in my 44-inch row to be teensy-tiny and didn't come close to resembling a quilting-type stitch. I had to rip out the entire row and concluded I'd have to hand quilt it after all. Although I realize this model doesn't claim to be a machine for quilting, I did expect it to do a better job than my 70+ year-old New Home which has similar problems in maintaining a uniform stitch length. This probably wouldn't be a problem in normal sewing in which the stitches don't show. Unfortunately, it just doesn't appear to be an improvement over my trusty old machine, and I really can't justify spending even the reasonable price for a new one.

Pros:
Good Value, Easy To Use

I bought the Singer 3323S Talent to give to my daughter-in-law in order to teach her to sew. It arrived and I took it for a test drive trying out all the stitches and functions. This little beauty sews smooth as butter! It is easy to learn and is perfect for any beginner or even for someone who likes having a spare machine for when you are sewing something which requires different colored threads---you can have two machines set up with different colors. It has enough creative stitches for the average sewer and the one step buttonholer is great along with all the accessories you get. For gift giving I think it's perfect because it's pretty to look at too. I am very pleased with it and I'm sure my daughter-in-law will love it!

Pros:
Good Value, Great Features, Easy To Use

my only complain is that the manual does not tell you how to remove the bobbin case to clean it and if it needs to be oil also what kind of bobbins to use otherwise it is a nice smooth and quiet running sewing machine

Pros:
Good Value, Great Features, Easy To Use, High Quality

Easiest machine I have ever used. Recommend reading the manual before using machine and it will be a breeze. Whether you are a beginner or seasoned seamstress you will love this machine. Had a brother and constantly had problems with it. It went straight into the trash after only a few minutes with my new Singer. Plan to purchase one for my daughter and daughter in law for upcoming birthdays.
