In order to stop the bobbin from jamming. You must make sure it is threaded at the top correctly and it's very, very crucial the the bobbin is nice and tight with no loose threading!!! I can not stress to you how important that is I "Youtube" a video and the lady is a fashion designer and she mentions the tighten of the thread on the bobbin helps.

I always like to use Singer machines as a Product.It has helped me from basic to advance sewing.I enjoy many modals I've sewn with...each one having its unique features.What else but SINGER!!!!!!I'm an Expatriate in Vietnam.It would be nice the country has a SINGER Retailer for services.

So far I have made three little bags with my machine. I really like it a lot so far and feel I am picking up quickly. The only thing I don't understand quite how to change the presser foot, but that is yet to come because I am still practicing.

Easy to use. Bought one for myself and one for my 12 year old grandaughter. She learned to use it quickly. She never used a machine before.Great Value! Have always loved Singer products so it was a no brainer when I needed a new machine to buy a Singer.

Though I only just purchased this machine, I enjoy using it. It is very user friendly, and being in Ecuador I needed something that wasn't going to cost a lot of money, and it's in English and not Spanish, which at this point in time, is a very good thing. It is very easy to thread and winding the bobbin. I haven't personally ever owned a singer machine, but my mother had one for many years and I don't ever recall her saying anything unsatisfactory about the machine. I intend on making a few quilts, wall hangings, etc while I am here and am looking forward to using my new "Singer Tradition" machine.
