Nice machine

Pros: Good Value, Easy To Use, Offers A Lot For Price

Cons: Alphalbet Stitches Are A Joke

Machine is a bit noisy. Love the needle threader. Nice selection of decorative stitches. The alphabet stitches are a disappointment. Over all it is a good machine.

Loving My Curvy

Overall Rating:

Pros: Good Value, Great Features, Easy To Use, High Quality

The Curvy is a great machine for learning sewing and it includes an easy to follow instruction manual. I appreciate the needle up/down position selector switch that keeps the needle down especially when you have to turn fabric. The automatic needle-threader is a bonus. The variety of stitches has helped me with creating some beautiful top stitches. I look forward to learning even more on my machine.

I highly recommend the Curvy for anyone who's in the market for a reliable machine.

After using my Featherlight for more years than I can count, I purchased the 8780. So far have tried out many of the available stitches and am very pleased. My only disappointment is there is no info on the different pressure feet I received. Have tried to get info online but can't find for some of the feet.

I have a small alteration business in my home and use this Curvy as my main machine. I like the new threading system and needle threader. Haven't used all the decorative stitches - but I'm working on it.

At Last!

Overall Rating:

I have been sewing many years, beginning on my mother's 1951(year) godzilla stright stitch Singer. My favorite machine was my XL50 until the mother board died. I recently purchased the 8780 Curvy and sewed all weekend. I am in love again! Easy to use. Good quality.

Over all

Overall Rating:

Pros: Good Value, Great Features, Easy To Use, High Quality

I am surprised that it has so much for quilting. My old Athenia was a great machine.
But for the price the Curvey is a super value.
I make quilts and this is my second new machine in 35 years. I love it.

This is my second Singer machine in 40 years, I love all the new features have not tried them all but working on it. I especially like the self threader as sometimes its hard to see the needle. The extension table is excellent when working on large projects.

Love the features and pretty easy to use. Purchased the Curvy8770,loved it and used it for 3 weeks, then malfunctioned, so returned it to store and got this model as the 8770 was out of stock at store. Singer is little of no help, would not replace it with a new one, offered little help, other than returning for repair at my expense, even though it was practically new and I wanted a replacement machine. Hoping I have better luck with this model, but have only used it briefly so far.
