Disappointed

Cons:
Poor Quality

Day one, set it up and ran some stitches to see how it worked. Day two, bobbin kept jamming no matter what I did. Broke two needles and spent over an hour trying to get it to work correctly. I wish I looked up the reviews before I bought it. Seems lots of people are having the same problem. So disappointed in Singer for not recalling this machine.

Cons:
Poor Quality

This machine is really awful, just spent an hour detangling the mess it's making at every attempt, trying to get tension right, nothing is working. I'm a beginner and seems i made a mistake buying this machine.

Pros:
Good Value, Great Features, Easy To Use
Cons:
Few Features

I bought this machine a couple of days ago and I am having a great time using it! I altered a nylon dress, hemmed it, hemmed the attached slip as well. I cut and shortened a pleated skirt using the blind hem stitch successfully. Mended a couple of garments as well. I found the booklet that advises of which needles to use for different materials very helpful. I used to do some sewing (30 to 35 years ago but didn't have time till now to get back into it) so I am almost learning from scrap.

Pros:
Good Value, Great Features, Easy To Use
Cons:
Poor Quality Of Needles

I've been using Singer 2250 Tradition for almost two months now. My overall impression: it is pretty good machine for the beginner. However, I would note quite low quality of needles (90/14) because of their frequent breakdown even when working with appropriate material. Four needles per week - that's too much for me! As for the functions - I only use two or three of them. I believe there's no need for the beginner to spend much money on the functions he/she would hardly use.

Pros:
Good Value, Great Features, Easy To Use

I needed to fix my older machine - not a free-arm - and happened to see this machine on sale at my Canadian Tire for the same price as a sewing machine repair! THIS ONE IS A FREE-ARM! Guess what; I am interested in sewing again and am trying a simple quilt. Awesome
