I purchased my Confidence a 4 years ago, on sale, when I first started sewing and used it occasionally, but I always kept it out ready for use. NOW, I'm really into sewing and love making my own skirts, bags and gifts. I use my Confidence "at least 6 times a week, sometimes EVERY DAY." I even created a signature hem for myself. I love that I get to chose from 30 different stitches. I've made 16 zippered pouches, and the zipper foot is awesome. 14 A-Line Skirts with lining, and 3 Amy Butler handbags. I've sewn with leather, denim, cotton, laminated material, and wool. I loved that it came with different feet. And another sellers for me was the self threader! I also love that it has the easiest bobbin threader. This is a great machine. Thank you Singer.

I've used a Singer 301 for 35 years. Love the company, finally upgraded. New machine is simple, intuitive, with lots of features. Priced right, I highly recommend it.
The thread gets stuck. Needles keep breaking. You use the machine for half an hour and send it to the agent to fix for 2 weeks. Never recommend it to anyone. Check other reviews on ebay, amazone ..etc all the same issues. I want my money back!
