Pros:
Good Value, Great Features, Easy To Use, High Quality

I was a little intimidated after hearing so many comments about the difficulty in threading a serger, but this machine makes it very easy to understand. It's even colour coded! I had never used a serger before but I was able to test it out right out of the box, and then finished all of the seams in a skirt I was making. It even sounds sexy! I haven't tried any of the other features yet, but I had no idea this machine could do so many things.Thank you Singer for another great product.

Pros:
Good Value, Better Instructions On The Website For Threading This Machine.
Cons:
Complicated, The Threading Instructions That Came With The Machine Were Very Poor.

This is the first serger I've ever had. I have not been able to use it for over 2 months because there was always something screwed up with the stitches. I followed the threading instructions carefully to no avail. I finally had to give up and use my sewing machine to complete the project I was working on.

After a good amount of frustration I finally found different threading instructions on the Singer website. Following those instructions just, the stitches work perfectly which amazed me.

I am now looking forward to using this machine. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that nothing else goes wrong.

My new serger

Pros:
Good Value
Cons:
Complicated

What I liked best about this product was the DVD. I would like more training videos. Found it hard to change pressure feet. The spring is so stiff I have difficulty exchanging feet. The lower looper is not easy to thread, can not see left end of it and the thread wants to fall behind the looper.

Difficult To Thread

I am still learning how to use my new serger but I really have enjoyed it. My most difficult thing is getting it threaded properly.
